Are you certain of the '73 date? One looks dead on to be '77 and the other could be smudged. The frame construction are consistent with Fanes I've seen made around 1977. Yours have larger magnets than mine, so I assume their power handling is higher. Maybe 40-50 watts? Are the dust covers aluminum ...

Hi & thanks for the help. I'm almost positive that the date says 37/73 but I will pull the cab apart again at the weekend & get some better pics. The centre of the cones is aluminium. It's reassuring to find thay should be 40-50 watt so I can turn the amp up with at least a bi of confidence ...
