Cheers ! So, i want to recone my speakers since the cones are noticable wery old and they already got some cracks on the cone and no fixture will guarantee me they will last for long time.... since the cones are already in bad shape i decided to explore the possibility to replace them. thanks guys for your help, im defenetly gonna try to find two more, but for now im good with some loudness restriction and soon an attenuator.
Btw the amp and the speaker sound fantastic now, big difference from the celestions. 3d sound

Hello ! I recently got 2 hiwatt fane from early 70's. one had a cone job done professionaly and the other is in original shape. I wonder if two of them would be enough to handle my 74' dr504 ?? I play usualy very loud.... master 11 o'clock and bricked preamps at 3-4 o'clock.... lot of fuzz and middy...

Thnx Dr.Hiwatt ! yes it is a 53xxx serial i don't heave the serail nr photos but i remember it strarts with a 5... why is the 330k resistor there ? I assume for bias or something ?? and yes i realize now the nut of the standby is different haha never would get it by my self. what do you think about ...

Hello and best regards to the forum ! Best info on Hiwatt on the web! I need some help.
