Why did blue dye was used on the soldering ?
Who started to do this , I know other color was
used but was it done because it wad a kind of a
seal so it would be known if a component was swapped ?

Did HIWATT cabs originally come with clamps? I would have to fabricate them. But then I wonder if they had the rubber dampening ring the other way round. Not the rear loaded but the front loaded did come with clamps , you can see that the clamps stamped the plywood on your cab,take a look at Dave's...

I would restore it to factory condition. The random pops could be a preamp tube. They're easy enough to swap out one by one with a known good one. The fizz thing may or may not happen with your amp (apparently, some two-inputs are worse than others). If it does have the problem, you can hear it by turning the input volumes all the way up ...
