Swapped out the 1000pf in the tone stack with the 220pf (NOS Mallory polystyrene similar to original) and while at it, put the V1 Brilliant channel cathode back to stock with a Mullard 47n and Iskra 2.2k. Well I've replaced the power supply caps with ARS brand, who offer the closest to matching vintage values I was able to find. 500V as well which is better. Tightened up the tone a little, but honestly, otherwise not a significant tonal difference from what I recall. So apparently the original caps m...
