Re: Need help identifying vintage Fane with metal dust cap.
the blue label is the standard fane label, they put on dozens of different speakers. the cast frame was used on dozens of different speakers as well. Fane made speakers for anyone and everyone. if you have the model number, I can probably tell you who it was made for. Screenshot_20240824_210013_Rev...

Re: Anyone used Celestion G12-T75's with a DR103?
Fwiw I also really love my two Custom 100's through the.two JCM800 1935 cabs I have. I have one 1935 Bass 4x12 with four Celestion 55hz G1265's, and one 1935 Lead 4x12 with four Celestion 75hz G1265's. Both cabs sound fantastic with both of the amps, but with both cabs combined it sounds huge. The B...

It´s a wonderful bold clean sound and I have nothing to complain. As we guitarists are such cursed creatur...

'60s Fane POP recone?
Hi, I have two vintage Pulsonic cone Fane speakers, one 25 watt 55hz, and one POP 20 watt 75hz. The 20 watt 75 hz one unfortunately has blown and I need to get it reconed. Does anybody have a recommendation for the best place in the continental U.S. to get this recone done right? What recone kit wou...

Re: Need help identifying vintage Fane with metal dust cap.
The model number and date code should be written on the red label near the speaker terminals. See the bottom of this page (https://hiwatt.org/dates.html) for details. The aluminum dust cap likely means 1980-ish vintage. I'm not sure if it's just the picture, but the other three appears to have diff...
