Cool zero , nice amp dude. I shall be replacing valves and caps eventually but not yet as I wont be gigging mine or using it too loud just at the moment ..... but when i do I will replace them for reliability.

Thanks guys. I thought that it may be a partridge p/t but not being au fait with Hiwatts .... that p/t has been in there at least 25 years as my friend from whom I bought it had it from the mid eighties, it's probably been there since the 70's early 80's and why it was replaced, who knows? Glad you ...

Here are a few pics of my 103 , I know that the power transformer is not origonal and it needs a cap job and new valves , but is there anything else in there that may need attention .... Yes , replaced both fuses for 3.15 amp and it's holding up well , switched it on and off several times and no blow.
The output tubes are glowing brighter too , they were slightly dim before . Thanks everyone for your help.

Right ok then ... i'll try 3 amps being as that is what is stated there and if that dosn't work increase to 5A ... i'll try it tomorrow , thanks.

Haha ok , and thats for 245 voltage ?
why has this amp been running 1 amps for years? I dont understand it I just looked at a hiwatt pdf 1974 catalogue that says 5A mains and 3A HT , so yes I've got the wrong fuses .... thanks for the help
