Yikes!
the bright side:
it looks like almost everything is still there. If you are capable of converting a PA into a DR, then you are definitely capable of restoring this one.

I would contact the seller and ask him to contact you if it doesn't sell. I would then offer 400 quid and see what happens.

you could explain that it will require several hundred quid in tech fees to restore the circuit , etc. etc.

let us know what happens!

On the bright side, you'd wind up with a few spare parts on the surplus shelf :roll: ...

I've never seen so much stuff crammed into a Hiwatt chassis. Would be an interesting restoration project, but only at a good price.

it looks a right mess. i know the partridges are there but its likely the replacement tranny is there because the partridge blew, and it almost looks like there is another amp in there, definiteley running from this.

One would need to proceed assuming the Power Transformer is shot. Hopefully, you'd be pleasantly surprised and the what-looks-to-be-torroidal transformer was just put in by someone under the influence.

It's a complete tear-apart and reassemble job, in any case. No telling what's been messed with in that conglomeration.

Here is the pdf file, so this blasphemy doesn't get forgotten after auction ends.

Theo Argiriadis!!!!! did this. He just quoted me £large to build a custom power supply for my pedal board. I don't think I will be bothering somehow.
