My '72 DR 103 internal pics

Here are a few pics of my 103 , I know that the power transformer is not origonal and it needs a cap job and new valves , but is there anything else in there that may need attention .... I ask thee oh experts!

the power transformer is a Partridge, but I can't say with any certainty what brand of amp it came from.

It looks pretty nice, besides the PT.

The fact that whoever installed it needed to rotate and drill new mounting holes suggests it was intended for a more powerful amplifier. The good news is, it's still a Partridge.

Get those caps replaced and let us know how it sounds!

Thanks guys.

I thought that it may be a partridge p/t but not being au fait with Hiwatts .... that p/t has been in there at least 25 years as my friend from whom I bought it had it from the mid eighties, it's probably been there since the 70's early 80's and why it was replaced, who knows?

Glad you guys think it's good , I value your opinions.

Greetings to a fellow '72 DR103 brother! My serial # is 2812. I'll also be getting caps replaced some time soon.

Cool zero , nice amp dude. I shall be replacing valves and caps eventually but not yet as I wont be gigging mine or using it too loud just at the moment ..... but when i do I will replace them for reliability.
