Hiwatt USA has stopped operations

What's up with Hiwatt in the USA? On the start page it says "Hiwatt Amplification has stopped operations until further notice".

Their website was hacked and was serving up malware. I don't know if this is just a site shutdown or the whole company has gone awry as well.
