Valve Question

Post by Philrob1 »

Hiya folks

First off on an OT - my amps have returned from the tech and are now running as good as ever.

My question is in regards to the authenticity of a valve I purchased a long while ago.

It's a bit of a mixed feeling for me, I have been told that what I purchased was sold as a Mullard CV4024 but could infact me a rebranded "NO NAME" valve...

This is the one in question...I won't state where I purchased it from but I'm sure you can work it out.

Not accusing anyone of anything here, I'd just like to know

Is this a genuine Mullard CV4024 or not?? Cheers

Phew!

Would these also be genuine ECC83 NOS?

perhaps, but the single pic doesn't show the production codes.

Yes, finding Mullard CV4004 seems to be trickier than the CV4024s. Do you know of reputable places in the UK to source them?
