DR201 front panel variations

Has anyone else noticed there are 2 variations for the DR201 front panel?
I've seen one where the "Custom Built" is vertical to the right hand side of the mains switch, and another where it is horizontal above the master volume.
Any ideas?

yes, it just depends on the date of production.
Pre 1973 have custom built above the MV.
later have it vertical along the edge
