Hi Hi-tone Team,
How many different flavors of awesome tone are on the menu these days for the treble-y (i.e. non-bass) cabs? '231 & '142 & '161 clones of the classic plum backed Fane speakers? At a glance, I was not able to determine this on the website: https://hi-tone-amps.com/
It's been a few years since my last correspondence. I am starting again to play electric guitar often and looking to do it best tone wise. -Z
What are the current speaker options for HI-TONE cabinets?

Hi Zells,
We have the DR-F, the '231 and the Crescendo A.
not sure we will pursue the 122142. we have all the bases covered pretty well.

Cool. Thank you for the info. OK, I have more questions. Please, refresh my memory. The HI-TONE DR-F speaker was inspired by and similar to the Hylight era Hiwatt Fane speaker model #155161, which had only a brief production run (circa 1978?) and was the typical favorite at the annual Vintage Hiwatt Conventions, correct?
I see the thread titled "The old 122231 is resurrected. Welcome the HI-TONE '231" so that's self explanatory. The 122231 was the most common Hiwatt Fane from the mid to late 70s Hylight era if I recall correctly.
The Crescendo A is based upon the classic Fane The Crescendo, I presume?
So, If a HI-TONE fanatic wishes to purchase a pair of cabs with different speaker models loaded in, what is the procedure for a fanatic to do this? Send a direct message on here or email concurrent with the cart order on https://hi-tone-amps.com/ ??

Re: What are the current speaker options for HI-TONE cabinets?
email is definitely the best.
claytonc@hi-tone-amps.com
the cabs are identified like the genuine HIWATT cabs were.
HT4121, HT2121 are the first series. loaded with DR-Fs
HT4123, HT2123 are the third series, loaded with '231s
if we ever do a '142 it will be the HT4122, HT2122 etc.

Oh, okay. I got confused because the '231 loaded HT4123, HT2123, HT1123 are not shown in the website list of cabinets here as of 01-Dec-18
https://hi-tone-amps.com/products/cabinets/ (I placed mouse cursor over 'PRODUCTS' drop down menu tab and left-clicked on 'CABINETS')
The '231 loaded HT4123, HT2123, HT1123 are shown here along with the other cabs.
