Want to Buy: Hylight DR103 or 504
Hey guys. Just wanted to post a topic about my interest in picking up a Hylight era 504 or 103. Either one would suit me fine. I'd consider a 105 or 505 as well, preferably if they have already been de-modded. I have 63 positive feedback on Ebay, and am located in Eastern Canada. If anyone has a head for sale, please let me know. Thanks.
Craig.

¤klÿn¡§§¤ and OldSchoolDave were both looking to part with a Hylight or two recently. Don't know if they still have them.

I've still got a 2 input DR105 that I intend to de-mod soon. Also have a "surplus" 4 input DR103, but it's going to go for more than the DR105.mikhailwatt wrote:¤klÿn¡§§¤ and OldSchoolDave were both looking to part with a Hylight or two recently. Don't know if they still have them.
Heading back from Mexico this afternoon. Will be back on-line late tonight.

I spoke with Klyniss. He's not selling his until he can find a blonde bassman to replace it with.
Keep me in the loop Dave
Thanks.

Methinks I incurred the wrath of Hiwatt ValleyDr.HIWATT wrote:"SURPLUS" ????

What I *meant* to say was, I've got two 4-input DR103's and would rather move one to a happy home in order to add another unique Hiwatt to the fold. May I come in from the cold now

If I recall correctly, the Doc has a half-dozen or so. Aren't even numbers better?OldSchoolDave wrote:I've got two 4-input DR103's and would rather move one...

I should add that I am interested in 4x12 cabs as well. Hiwatt, Reeves, Harry Joyce, whatever would be a good match with a Hiwatt, basically.

Here's a photo of my old Hiwatt before I stupidly sold it. I was planning on moving out of the country for school and couldn't take it with me. Then I decided not to move and started to kick myself daily for having sold the Hiwatt. It's a late 70's DR505, I can't remember the exact year. It sounded alright, but it never seemed to sound as good or as loud as a Hiwatt should've. The cab is a Mojotone with Weber Thames. Wish I could have that back as well....
