DR103 PT color codes?

Post by JC103 »

Hey guys can anyone verify the primary color codes used on all/most Hylight era Hiwatt power transformers? For example...

105v=red
115v=green
225v=blue
245v=yellow

black=neutral
white=ground

I've seen a few different color codes on Partridge PTs unfortunately, but this includes outliers like Sound City and Carlsbro. Anyone here have 2-3 (or 16) Hiwatts they could check? :wink: :lol:

The other way to check is to measure the AC voltage at each mains selector lug. A transformer with a multiple-tap primary also acts as an autoformer, and the approximately correct voltages will appear at each tap no matter which one is being used as the input.
