Odd DR103 issue.
Hey fellas. Had my new DR103 at rehearsal tonight and had it cranked, master volume about 4:00, normal channel at about 2:00. Sounded great, of course. But after about 5 minutes, I was hitting some chords and letting them ring out, and after about 5-6 seconds of it ringing out, the volume would start to drop and fade out, and then rise and fade back in. It was very odd. It wasn't completely cutting out, but fading. Hard to explain really...Could this be tubes or caps? I have a re-cap kit on the way, so the caps will be changed shortly. The tubes are the winged Cs that were in the amp when I bought it. I also noticed that they have some glowing blue spots at times, is that normal? I know bright red is bad, right?
Re: Odd DR103 issue.
The blue glow happens sometimes in some power tubes, and is nothing to worry about.
Make sure all the jacks are clean (not dirty or corroded). Remove and re-seat all the tubes a couple of times.

Thanks Mark, will do. I should have mentioned that this issue disappeared after a few minutes of playing anyways and the amp went back to normal.
