I bought this amp two weeks ago and it turned out to have quite some issues.
It was very very noisy, even without an instrument plugged into it. So first thing I did was take it to a good amp tech.
I'm not an expert but this is what he told me (he actually wrote it down, i could never memorize this
)
* the bias adjustment was done poorly. The tubes were exposed to 42mA which is way too much according to the tech.
* there was a bizarre connection between bright and normal channel which meant that you couldn't get any sound from the normal channel without opening the bright channel
* He also did some minor changes: new preamp valve, putting the mains-fuse behind the pilot (whatever that means), replacing a bunch of wrong resistors.
It cost me 150 euros (200$) to get it in a decent shape. But it's great now.
