I updated the "early 70s" preamp schematic based on the values on my new toy.
I also finally got around to doing a schematic for the higher gain '69 circuit, based on DL's #7xx.

Ahhh... might the 220k plate + 2k2 cathode on V2 explain the "not a speck of dirt" phenomenon you mentioned?
My next build will have to be based on one of those early units! Thanks again, Prof.

Any chance of updating the '60s preamp schematic with my name on it? It still doesn't match my amp, which uses both halves of V2. I can send you the schematic again if need be.
