Not exactly... the other guitarist is using my '504 and the Reeves cab, instead of his Fender Twin. His Tele into the Twin is hard to listen to!

My son prefers the iWATT DR103 and the SE4123 with the 122231 Fanes. I prefer >>>both<<<.

Mics were rented for their project along with the preamps.

When I was in high school I would have preferred "any" of that. At that time, my band brought infinitely inferior equipment to the studio to record our first record (sulk)... You are one cool Dad.

Me too... my high school/garage band rig consisted of a MusicMan HD130 2x12 (loaded w/ Celestion G1265s), a few stompboxes, and a Washburn A10V. Seemed cool enough at the time, but I can just imagine what kind of damage could've been done back then with today's rig.
