Used My DR103 clone

Post by mhuss »

...for an outdoor gig this past weekend. It was awesome, loud crystal-clear cleans, and sounded great with every pedal I used. I really like that amp. I had it paired with a 2x12 using current (Medusa 150c) Fanes, and thought they sounded very good as well.

I would've used the real '103 but I still haven't gotten around to re-capping it.

It's implied statements like this which don't exactly help us guys with fakes manage our G.A.S. :P
Nah, that's just my disclaimer for the ultra-purists like Dr. Hiwatt!

I really do like my original clone a lot, and use it often, even though I have 'real ones' are available.

It's nice to have a "daily driver" that you don't have to worry too much about.

I've heard mark's clone, and it's no slouch!
