OldSchoolDave's Surplus Sale
Coming soon to the Vintage Hiwatt Convention Forum's For Sale page:
1974 4 input DR103 (as put through the paces at VHC IV by Hiwatt Bob)
UPDATE 31 July: Web page with pics at this link: http://www.alwaysakumal.com/images/_Hiw ... _6741.html
Voltage selector plug is chipped, but functional and a fuse post has been replaced with a Fender-style. Besides those items, and a VHR cap job performed by none other than Dr.Hiwatt himself, at VHC II, it's original.
Will come with new JJ tubes, except for the PI/V4, which will be NOS Mullard CV4024 (because I believe in them THAT much!)
-SOLD-
1977 2 input DR105 (100 watter, built for Canada - also seen at VHC IV)
UPDATE 31 July: Pics to follow soon. Actually a 1977, not 1979. Case has some bruises, but it's a decent player.
UPDATE 01 August: pics can be viewed here (including a bittersweet "ransom shot" from when I first composed the page):
http://www.alwaysakumal.com/images/_Hiw ... DR105.html
The handle has seen better days but, again, it's a solid player. Same complement of tubes as the DR103. Asking $1750 + shipping
and, possibly, 1980 SA112 (Hylight w/ PCB)
Stay tuned for pics and info. PM me for earlybird specials .

Dude, you gotta be careful unloading that much gear at once. You wanna bottom out the market or somethin'?

you financing another gear purchase???
i'll vouch for the '74 4-holer i played. sounded great--on it's own--and of course with a plethora of pedally goodness.

Re: OldSchoolDave's Surplus Sale
I can vouch for the '74 as well.
it is in better condition than the one that sold on ebay two weeks ago for $2600 and change.
If I hadn't just splurged on a new guitar, I would have already bought this one!

Your new LP sounds like a beauty! Looking forward to seeing it some time.Dr.HIWATT wrote: If I hadn't just splurged on a new guitar, I would have already bought this one!
For those keeping score, I added a link (in the original post) to the pics for the DR103 and will be linking to a page for the DR105 soon.
