More Vintage !blasphemy! Amps On The Way....

Post by Mike B. »

I hope my friends here will remain my friends, but I've got more vintage !blasphemy! stuff heading my way. I love my old Hiwatts, but you can't beat the sound of the old !blasphemy! amps. Once I complete my collection I'll post some pics.

The Traynor Keeps Rising?
No no no, that won't do...
The Gretsch Keeps Rising?
Perhaps not...
The Gibson Keeps Rising?
Unfortunately...
The Crate Keeps Rising?
Definitely not!...
The Mesa Keeps Rising?
If you play metal...

Well look, I'm just right stumped! Whatever amp could it be?

!blasphemy!.

Shining down on a nice summer day.

The one I'll pick up this coming Friday is a 2000S from 1971.

Mike

PS This Sunn2000s features point to pint hand wiring, albeit not quite as neat as a Hiwatt. It's nice nonetheless!

Hey guys, even with all your hints I'm still not getting it...

That's great, Mike! I've always dug the sound of a loud S.u.n.n. Bet it and the Hiwatt will sound great in stereo...

I suspect there might be a sunrise at the next Hiwatt convention. What an interesting side by side, no? Perhaps that weill happen, but it all depends on the amount of room I have.

Boy, the Coliseum rig sounded great at rehearsal last night, especially for "Teacher."

I see where a few pictures of the 2008 Hiwatt Convention made it to the !blasphemy! forum website. Interesting indeed. It seems they are a bit less "hung up" about mentioning other amps. And why should they be? Both amps are super!
