Forum clock
Even though I set my time zone correctly, I think the global forum clock is set to GMT, not even HVT (Hiwatt Valley Time). Any ideas moderators? Or do posts appear as they are written? So if someone posts in NYC it would be +1 for me in CDT? Just curious.

Our sysadmin OldSchoolDave is on a business trip, but I suspect that we're on GMT because that is one time the whole world should know how to relate to.

Precisely! It's also New Malden time, which seemed appropriate.mhuss wrote:Our sysadmin OldSchoolDave is on a business trip, but I suspect that we're on GMT because that is one time the whole world should know how to relate to.
Open to suggestions, though.

I didn't know if there was a subjective setting where the times were displayed according to your set time, therefore; you'd know when someone posted most recently. Just a thought. Seattle's weather is here Dave, no sunshine, cold and wet. Ugh...

I prefer to think in terms of: New Malden Mean Time
