That is our buddy Zells.
Nice gear! Bad timing for me or I would be all over it!

Oh really? In that case, he should have advertised them as "Direct from the Vintage Hiwatt Convention" ;) .

For those keeping score at home, we ran those cabs through our Speaker Shootout and there are no issues with them. That DR103 is from the right era (love the feel of those large diameter RS pots) and would be a nice acquisition for someone in the market.

Yep, they're mine. One cab or amp needs to go to a new home. The 400 watter is not for sale, however.

That SE4123 is tempting... I "need" another so as to have a pair of them.

However, I've become quite enamored with "THE SOUND" of a '4122 and '4123 together of late. :D

I agree that the SE4122 + SE4123 cab setup is a great combination.

Which Fane drivers are loaded in your SE4123? There were several models used in these cabs: cast frame 122231, stamped frame 122231, 125114, 125155, and 125161...others?

My main SE4123 is a mongrel: '75 cab with (3) cast frame 122231s from '72/'73, plus (1) stamped frame '231 from '76.

My other SE4123 is a well-traveled '78 rear-loader with 125114 Fanes, 3 of which appear to be recones. Big magnets, different tone.

Cool cabs. I suppose that my SE4123 with all stamped frame 122231 drivers would add a little more variety to your palette of tone options if you chose to obtain it.

Yeah... haha. I'm kinda runnin' outta storage space as it is with those two plus a pair of early '70s SE4122s. I think I'm good for now. :)

Haha...space is limited for me too. My living room is crowded with amps, cabs, guitars, pedals, etc.

My office has morphed into an electronics lab/amp storage room... I've taken to leaving a pair of cabs semi-permanently in the back of my SUV - easier on the ol' back, more space in the house!
