Genesis Gabriel era with Hiwatts

Post by louis »

We often talk about Townshend ,Gilmour and Jethro but here is Genesis with some brand new Hiwatts.
At around 3.15 you start to see the cabs and then the heads.

Enjoy!.......................Louis

I forgot what a pretty boy Gabriel was back then :D . Ah, to be young, skinny and have a full head of hair again (sigh).

Cool clip. I'd love to have that squeaky clean backline!

...Hey! I played that song when it was new...

It's always great to see/hear Hylight era Hiwatts in action.

King Crimson 1972 w/ a gaggle of Hiwatts

Deep Purple 1974 - w/ twin DR405 bass stacks behind Glenn Hughes (around 5:11 you can get a good view)

Slade - these eccentric fellows had a Hiwatt or ten

Kevin Shields has a Hiwatt in the mix of his many live amps. MBV is the LOUDEST live band I've ever seen for certain.
