Thanks for helping a rookie out guys!!! My son jammed through her for an hour or so and WOW it's nice....I think he's ready for full conversion from Marshall to Hiwatt now!!

It seems odd they would replace the 220k bleeder resistors and not the cap cans. I don't see any pictures of the top, are those caps original?
Flyback diodes help protect the output transformer if the amp is cranked with no load. This almost never happens in a Hylight unless a speaker cord goes bad, because of the self-protecting shorting output jack design.

All electrolytic caps have been replaced with JJ. They're all black. I hope that's what you mean?
The kid is jamming through it now....lots of punch...very articulate and responsive to pick attack.
