can someone tell me about the convention?

I think there is a band every night at Buddy Guy's blues club. His house band is pretty good. "Howard and the white boys"

You are always welcome to come in a day or two early and hang out.

Friday the 27th is just a low key "unload gear and have a beer" evening. The calm before the storm, if you will.

Phil, you are a convention veteran, you won't miss anything if you can't get here till Saturday morning......

I saw Harold and the White Boys on tv not long ago, and they had a heck of a guitarist(there were two in the band, but one REALLY tore it up)!

So nothing going on until Friday evening? Maybe I'll wait until Friday AM to head down.

I don't know if there is anything structured going on Friday. I will probably be in "setting up mode". I hope to get the schedule hammered out soon. If there are enough activities then I may have to spill them into Friday.

I encourage any of you to come in as early as you want on Friday..........because it is going to be FUN!

We ("The Hiwatt Rhythm Kings") will be there as early as we can on Friday.
