I'm still a bit confused. Did you mean you left the original tubular cap in place?

I would go ahead and replace it since you're done the rest of them. Electrolytics have a definite life span, and 40 years is probably pushing it!

for the 201 you will need:
five 100uf 450v. cans THese are difficult to find so you may need to use 50+50uf caps
one 50+50uf 500v. can
one 100uf 100v. axial cap
for the DR103:
one 16+32 or 32+32 450 or 500v. can
one 50+50uf 500v. can
three 220uf 385v minimum cans
one 100uf 100v. axial cap
all of these are already inside your amps, if you opened them up you could make a list.

You want the LF series for the two-terminal ones and LFAZ for the lone three-terminal one. Type A for the bias cap.

thank you all. as you can see on the photo, change has to be done very soon I think.
they have those 100uF 450V
http://www.hificollective.co.uk/catalog ... citor.html
or TAD has siemens
http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/en/shop_Ca ... adial_4352
but I think I order that F&T since you recommend them. at first I thought about JJ as they are made in my home country...

the bias cap in your SA212 should be a 150 uf axial cap on the power board.

a 150uf would be best for a 50 watt SA212

220 is fine too. The bias cap is one of those positions where the value is not critical, as long as it doesn't go too low.
So, 150 if you want to be 'accurate' historically, but 220 is fine if you have one (or can get one) easily.
