Figure about 130 lbs. shipping weight. This includes a double-thickness cardboard box, packing foam, and a piece of masonite board to protect the grille. And a whole roll of gaffers tape.

I quoted DHL, FedEx, UPS and DB/Schenker/BAXGlobal. All were in the $500+ US range to ship a 4x12 cab from the UK to MeenaSOHta, USA . Slow boat is fine, but that doesn't seem to be an option with those fellas.

I was figuring a box 34" x 34" x 16" weighing in at 120 pounds. I think that tripped a dimensional limit on one of the above, so I requoted with 32" x 32" x 14".

Anyway, it'd be wonderful to locate a reliable, economical shipper 'cause there's lots of good stuff across that pond and the dollar is (currently) strong!

Yeah, I know. I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that particular shipper...(it didn't - they were all too expensive).
