roof-surfing in atop the terraza would've been 10x cooler...

...but i arrive IND at 9:20pm friday night. i'll have to rent a car, so i probably won't make it to clayton's until 11:00 i would guess. you guys better still be awake and drinking at a minimum.
i have to leave early, early sunday morning to make it back for fathers day. but 2 nights and 1 day of hiwatting is better than none.

Could have used the copilot, too. Jarrett had a family event take precedent, so I'll be flying the Mighty Terraza solo.

As you say, SOME Hiwatt is better than NO Hiwatt. Glad you'll be able to attend.

I'm just in one of those moods:

Puny little men don't irk me--bring what you want. Told you I was in one of those moods.....

I actually look forward to seeing everyone....

Yep, that sounds like a good plan to me. By the way, my amp went over quite well at a gig I did in Nashville about a week or so ago. I did ok, too.

I waited until the last minute to post this as there was still SOME chance I would be able to come down for at least a day or two but I just found out that the farm outside of Shelbyville I might've been able to stay on (parents of a friend's) can't host me - no one's home right now. Seems like things have been popping up the closer and closer that this weekend got, too (such as the Hiwatt not being up and running yet). I'm sorry fellas. I'll start planning for next year... :( (The side effect of this is that I now have the cash to pick up a Hiwatt Convention shirt, and I'll have my wife make up an "Almost Attended" stencil to spraypaint on the back! )

Dave, I don't know what route you take to get home to Minneapolis, but if you pass anywhere near Chicago and want to stop over for a beer, it's on me. Same goes for anyone else who ever happens to get up my way. I owe you guys one! Have an awesome weekend and don't forget to wear hearing protection when the 201s are lit up!

Another time, perhaps? I've been staying south, cutting across on I-74 and then up from Bloomington to Madison to avoid Chicago congestion.

Sorry you can't make it. Hopefully, next year.

Dave

P.S. 4 DR201's present and accounted for. If another one shows up, we may have a new world record :) .
