There was one note (low G) where the back sounded like it was going to bail out,

I did dime it for a minute, just for the experience. It'd be much more frightening with four 4x12 cabs, though!

Mark, did you dime all of the knobs? Or just the master volume?

I just set all the volumes to max.
It was quite an experience. The grille cloth was jumping about an inch/2.5 cm every time I hit a chord.
