Well, it would be louder than my tubed amp for sure, and the tone's quite good, too. Who knows what will happen?

Happy New Year to all!

Mike

Montreal is not much further away than Philadelphia, and I've managed to go to all four to date (flying or driving). :D

The Pavilion will help make the volume issues much easier on us all.
I suffered from shell shock for a few days after that Convention!

Just a thought... could we run afoul of any local noise ordinances at the fairgrounds?

Any other events going on that won't "appreciate" our brand of mayhem?

Just sayin'... it would put a real damper on the festivities if we got a visit from the "noise police." :(

I doubt it. No problem before midnight. After midnight????

They have dirt track racing there every saturday night throughout the summer. It is far louder than we will be.

I am excited to see everyone!

Wanna bet  ???

Just curious, is there a stage inside the pavillion or is everything at one elevation?

You've got enough to do! We'll be fine at ground level.

Hey dudes--
i know it's been a while since i checked in. hope all is well with everyone.
I've got another kid on the way--so that's probably the biggest news in my life. moved into a new house (Dave--i'm in Apple Valley now, by the zoo--i know it's a further drive, but you'll have to stop out sometime). that and i picked up a Savage Macht 12x (with 2x8" and an extension cab with 1x12").

anyhow, UNFORTUNATELY, the weekend of the '10 convention is the weekend of my daughter's birthday. and as much as i'd love to be there to go deaf, drink beers, and discuss chili-dogs and cincinatti bow-tie's with MikeB--i think i have to pass this year. priorities. plus, this is kind of my M.O.--so far i've only gone to even-numbered VHC's, so to go to VHC V might be kind of unlucky for everyone. but i'll miss you guys.

Definitely down for a Mpls/st.paul mini-VHC if people want to do that at some point.

again, hope all is well with everyone--and may the force be with the mighty Terraza.
ryan (aka Bob)
