Hey All,
I have a Hiwatt labeled Fane with the sticker missing.
with a Purple Hiwatt label. There is a stamp on the frame in a circle that says 'Hi-F? and '4' underneath. The cone is stamped W5333 and underneath 426. The cone seems to be in exceptionally good shape (might be a re-cone)
Any idea which model it is?
Cheers, Mike

Re: Identify this Fane
based on the info given, the only thing that can be determined is that it is a recone.

The cone is not original. The other identifiers aren't of much help, unfortunately. We'll need you to post pics for more clues.JammyDodger wrote: Any idea which model it is?

Re: Identify this Fane
The speaker terminals are replacements and I've never seen a dust cap that large on a Hiwatt Fane. Original gaskets from that era were brown cardboard - or a green foam. That confirms it's been reconed.
It was probably a 122142 or 122231 originally. With the tag missing, about the only way to tell would be by weight (122142's have heavier magnets).
