what's a watt box

Hello, I came over a reference to a "Watt Box" and have a feeling Mr Huss might know something about it
What is it, what does it do etc etc.

I don't have a clue. Is it an attenuator of some sort?

Interesting,
here is the link to the forum I saw it on. I think it is some kind of Hiwatt preamp satge in a stomp box.
One of the pics is a schematic that says MHUSS 2007!!.

I built that a few years ago, but I wasn't crazy about it, never got back to it, and had pretty much forgotten about it until now.
