Hello Folks,
I have decided to sell my PA100 Head.
It is a Highlight era amp 1973
DR112 PA100
Serial 4885
It was discussed in this thread
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1375
I have owned it for It for 20 years but have not used it for 17 of those. It needs the main power Valves replacing as these are missing
The vented back plate is also not present.
In the discussion it is advised that the filter caps be replaced due to its age.
Also the power connection could do with attention as it has had a flex connected directly rather than a plug and socket arrangement.
There are a few knocks and scrapes.
Lastly there is no carry handle.
All the rest is there including the Partridge transformers, The channel valves, all the switches and knobs and the amazing wiring.
I have decided to sell as I have had it too long sitting around and think it should be owned by someone who will appreciate it and give it the life it deserves,
I also haven't really got the funds or inclination to get it sorted. Also my girlfriend is getting a little fractious about the wall of amps
I'm not sure what it is worth in this state £250 £300??? but I'm sure this is a good place to get a fair price, any advice on that is welcome.
I live in North London so you are welcome to come and have a look or I am happy to Post at the buyers cost.
It weighs around 20kgs
Cheers any questions I will do my best to answer.
Jonnie
