I was perusing the list of exhibitors attending NAMM this year and noticed that Fane speakers were exhibiting.

That got me thinkng .... The good folks at VHR should think about getting a booth across from Fane next year and have a speaker shoot out  I know who'd get my vote and win!!

Seriously tho, have you guys ever thought about attending one of Loni Spector's amp shows?

Appreciate the support, but NAMM booths cost too dang much, at our current stage :( .

We're in the process of developing our 2012 marketing campaign and are looking for info on the more productive (and reasonably priced) shows. Any feedback from forum members would be appreciated.

There's a strong possibility I'll have a couple of HI-TONE amps on display at the Columbus, OH Guitar Show this Sunday (Jan. 15th).

We have ruled out the Specter shows.

As Dave mentioned we are considering some shows for 2012.

NAMM 2013 has not been ruled out.

Winter NAMM would be ideal for me since I live in Arizona :-)

Maybe you could look into sharing a booth with some other vendor. the base price on a booth isn't so bad, but as you probably already know it's all the extras that kill you. Shipping requirements, carpeting, electricity, displays etc. etc. are all additional charges. Not to mention the jacked up prices for accomodation and food during the convention.
Hope you make it there next year!

A good bass luthier friend of mine has a booth at Winter NAMM 2012 - might be sharing one with somebody, not sure.
Say hi to Rod @ Regenerate Guitar Works (Show Hall E - Booth 1304) if you happen to be wandering the halls. :)

Rod is a good friend of mine as well! (what a small world it is). I'll be spending lots of time at his booth and probably wil be hanging out with him in the evenings discussing the finer points of bass building.

And, as a matter of fact, I just commisioned him to finish up this SCPB for me :D

You wouldn't happen to have last year's program or a PDF of the floor plan with exhibitor list, would you? Can't find that kind of historic info on their site.

How does this relate/compare to the Arlington show?

They are managed by different groups, but both have many of the same vendors focused on used/vintage gear.
Dallas typically has a few manufacturers, in the past I have seen people like Fuchs, Kendrick and Category 5.
The big difference is that Dallas is a "festival" so along with the show there are a number of stages for clinics and performances (w/ names like George Lynch, Nugent, Derringer).
It would cool for you to get your gear on one of those stages for a demo or performance.

Good thought. Hmmm, we'll have to investigate. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, as matter of fact I am a lefty! sorry for the tardy response, I just noticed the comment

And Regenerate Guitars (Rod) had an excellent outcome from NAMM. But I'll let him announce the news when the details are complete.
