We love having new members sign up, but the volume of would-be spammers is incredible. If you want to sign up for this board, please do not:
- choose a user name that looks like a cat walked across your computer keyboard
- use an e-mail address that looks like a cat walked across your computer keyboard when you signed up for gmail.
We respect your desire for originality and sometimes anonymity, but we just don't have time to closely investigate every application that comes in.
I go through these apps about once a week, if you would like faster service, or think I deleted your application, please shoot me an email (my contact info is available at hiwatt.org).
8/2024 update :
I've just been overwhelmed lately by spammers and other ne'er-d-wells signing up for this board lately. So, new policy: I'm not going to review each app that comes in. If you want to join, please do so, but when you don't get activated after a reasonable time, send me an email...
