Beat up but working SE4123 with fanes: worth it?

I've just got a 4-input DR103, and I'm looking for the best matching cabinet as far as sound quality goes. I'm planning to hook up the amp and cab to an Aracom-DAG attenuator.
I bumped into a SE4123 cabinet with:
- 4x12 100w fane speakers
- front loaded
- condition: the grill cloth has a stain and the cabinet is in overall players condition
I need some advice on any of these:
- Can you guess a reasonable price range for this cabinet?
- Can I find a new grill cloth anywhere?
- Are only 4x12 cabs recommended for DR103's? A 2x12 would desirably shave off a few extra dB, but I worry about compatibility.
- Overall, is it worth the trouble?
I know a basic 120W 4x12 Marshall with Celestion speakers goes for around 260 bucks. Maybe the attenuator will kill the sound quality for starters, as the speakers will mechanically vibrate less at lower volume, so there may be little difference. But I don't have the experience to answer this.
Many thanks
