Aside from doing the obvious refreshment of tubes & caps on vintage amps, I think some new rubber shoes is a pretty acceptable 'mod' to do.. what do you think?

First... get the gunk out... looks like an old bit of masking tape

The old & the new... Adam Hall rubber

Sitting pretty

Some dweeb decided to paint something near this head without protecting it from splatter drops... I used a hypodermic needle to slide under the dried paint and lift it off without damaging the tolex (don't worry, I got the needle from an emergency 1st aid travel kit I had lying around  )

A functional improvement, I'm sure. Just hang onto all the old parts in case you ever want to sell it and some "purist" comes along ;) .

Thanks, I just like the sense of stability it gives and imagine it becomes a more effective 'extension' of the cab... and yep, I have my box of bits I will never throw out

Hey,

I managed to pick up a 74 DR103 not too long ago and it also could do with some new feet.
What size should I be going for?
Is it the Adam Hall 4907?

Cheers,

Tom
