Hi,
The experts will be here soon, but I would hazard a guest that it is one of a clutch of DR505s made in December 1977. The Brilliant input/volume act as a master volume.
$800 to $900 in the US. . This has no voltage selector, and therefore is Canada modded 115V and will be higher gain than a "classic". Errors and omission and utter rubbish excepted.

Agreed....I can hear the experts' footsteps as we "speak"
. Until they arrive:
Filter caps need proper replacments. Fuses posts are non-original. The sticker over the Mains Voltage hole probably covers the original plate installed to meet Ontario Hydro standards. No idea why the heat shield was cut
- maybe a mod that's since been reversed? The bolts certainly don't need to be that long to secure it... It does have the Canadian Gain mod on V2, which is easily disconnected, if desired.
Given that she's apparently been "rode hard and put away wet", I'd go along with thefatcyclist's value assessment. Being the "frugal type", I'd try for even less
.

yes, it has been abused.
ultimately it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, but I wouldn't give more than $600.00 - $700.00 for it.
the list of "mucked up" items/issues is long.
With some TLC it could be a good player.
