The old man found a fal transistor amp for 35 pounds on gumtree it has 125158 fanes in it. Made week 20 1979, they sound ok with the

FAL. They have full size magnets and metal dust caps and are 8 ohms.
And other info appreciated, likely power rating especially.the amp is 100 watts, has chorus and reverb plus a clean and dirty channel and found foot switch and effects swell pedal inside when. I took the speakers out..front loaded. Blue labels

No. The "replacement" model numbers for Hiwatt Fanes were 125114 and 125155 - but it's too early in the morning for me to recall which superceded which...

Maybe i'm reading the 5 as an 8, makes no difference if they sound ok with the hiwatt tho'.

they aren't a 122142, but if you like the sound, then all is good
