a guy named David Strelz aka "dcsbulldog" over at PP? He was supposedly linked in some way with the Hiwatt company - in what respect I don't know. The nick description @ PP says audio engineer. I think he was the one who initiated the "The Hiwatt Story" website and If I recall correctly was in the process of starting up a parts(?) store "hylightelectronics.com" and a new line of amps called Maxwatt. It was about the same time that MG aquired the rights to the Hiwatt/Hylight/Maxwatt name and then he just disappeared. Whatever happened to him? I never saw him again on PP after that......anybody know who he is? Last post dates back to January 2004. He seemed to have an abundance of knowledge pertaining to Hiwatt. Just curious as to why he disappeared.........

he disappeared as he was a fraud.
he was a dreamer with a very large imagination.
the vast majority of the info on "the hiwatt story" is just make believe. little to no factual info.

it is comical as he had many people believing his claims.

I see - thx for clearing that up So I take it all the info about him (David Strelz) importing Hiwatts and creating the bulldog series is all made up?

It's interesting how some people will try to play themselves isn't it? I think the only Hiwatt info I trust comes from right here - and of course, Mark's site.
