Have you guys seen this???? I bet it would be awesome with the 1971 DR201 I got from Clayton!

But seriously... How would I move it/?? I was speaking last year on the phone with John Pazdan, the bass player for Pezband and he told me that back in the 1970's, Pezband and Cheap Trick had the same management, Ken Adamany.
One day, John was brought to the Cheap Trick warehouse and was allowed to take what he wanted...being a 4 KT88 DR201 and a Hiwat SE4151. He told me it was incredible.. but wound up using the DR201 with a Gallien Krueger 4x12, 2x10 cab.
NOTHING BEATS the tone of this amp...Of course....nowadays we have Hi-Tone HT200......
Speaking of Hiwatt 4x15 cabs...

Re: Speaking of Hiwatt 4x15 cabs...
Wow - that guy is fishing! $2500 Starting Bid for an empty cab ? Even IF somebody wanted to lump 4 - 15" speakers into a single cab (after all, if it were such a great idea, how come nobody offers them today?), one could build a heck of a replica for a lot less. Sheesh.
Anyway, I second your praise for a KT-88 equipped DR201. Incredibly big sound from those beauties.
Ken Adamany - I hadn't heard that name in years. We were touring the same Wisconsin & Illinois bars when "Fuse" became "Cheap Trick" and, as I'm told, became indentured servants to Ken for years to follow. They sure did collect a bunch of interesting gear!
