For Sale Custom PA 100 6 input DR112 S/N 511 - questions

Unit a bit battered externally (1 of the front infill panels is missing) and has not been played in a long while. I have attached a 50 ohm load and made sure it all powers up OK. When I can get them off my phone I can add some images.

It has Partridge transformers which I gather are desired. The valves are Mullard EL34 and ECC81 on the pre-amp section. What else should I find out which people might like to know and how would you suggest I go about selling it (oh and approx how much is it worth). Sorry lots of questions but I didn't want to just eBay it not knowing about what to expect.

Many thanks for your thoughts

Where is it at???? That can make a big difference.

Post good pics of the circuitry and any codes (on transformers, pots, etc.) you can see.

Good point Dave! I'm in Banbury Oxfordshire. A few pictures now added. Based on this http://hiwatt.org/dates.html it would suggest it's dated from 1969

Hope this helps a little

Yes - very helpful, thanks!

It is an early model, but appears to have had some less-than-Hiwatt-standard repairs performed. It would be a project for someone, but definitely worth restoring, IMHO.

Dr.HI-TONE has a better handle on current market values than I. Trans-Atlantic shipping can be expensive, which would factor into the equation outside the UK.

I have been hesitant to give my very educated guesses / estimates as some guys in the past had outlandish ideas as to what some pieces were worth and they didn't like my opinion. So I hope I don't offend anyone.

it is cool, but pretty rough.
in mint condition the PA heads are only getting 400-500 quid.

for this one I'd say a couple hundred quid.

They are neat for geeks like me, but the demand isn't like it is for a DR103 or DR504

Kinda what I was thinking, too.

THIS geek has mused about owning one of those, but it's on the "wrong" side of the pond and I don't know when I'd find the bench time to restore it :( .

Thanks chaps very kind. I've had a couple of interested folk but if no joy there I'll risk the heady world of eBay....not my favourite place.
