Guiness is too thick for my tastes. Go ahead, Mike B., call me a wimp :) !

I'd go for something in the Dos Equis Amber range, but will yield to the majority.

Just curious can you guys get New Castle Brown Ale down there? Been drinking a lot of it lately. I'm good with Guiness. I'll have to check out that Dos Equis stuff.

I'll drink anything you get. I won't have to drive anywhere - just stumble to the tent!

I should be able to ge Newcastle down here.

Guiness requires CO2 so that is out.

Guiness will indeed be too strong/thick for most, but Bass should work out just fine. Get both if you have the room, but Bass alone should be A-OK . I'm sure they'll be plenty of bottles of OP for those who want that, too.

I see no need to mention other brands here as there are 200 or so that would be fine. By the way, Newcastle here in this country is pretty lame stuff (had one the other day just to see if things got better, and I was saddened to see it's just as boring and light as it always is over here).

Perhaps bottles are the way to go?
A much great variety can be easily obtained!

Kegs were just a thought.

Who is bringing a Cooler? I have one.

Hmm, the New Castle we get here in Canada is imported from England. I've been enjoying it lately, although it is kinda light... but still tasty. Maybe they Americanized it for the US market??? What's the Bass like, I've never tried it?

If I have room I'l bring a cooler (as I did last year)!

Mike

PS I'm still thinking a keg of Bass would be a good middle ground. The stuff we get here in the USA tastes pretty good (and I'm used to the stuff I get in England).

Checked out the Bass website, looks nice. I'd be up for a keg of that. I'll try to bring an extra cooler too!
