Hey gang,
Rescued this one from the trash. I know squat about amps. See pics.

I'd say between 1200 - 1500 on eBay, but I'm not the real expert. That being said however, there appears to be an extra toggle switch on the front, which would indicate the amp has been modded in some way, this will most likely lower the value of the amp. How much depends on exactly what has been done to it. That amp is in really great condition however, at least on the outside. I'd say it's a keeper! Hope this helps.

Yeah - we'd have to see the guts to know for sure. Shame someone drilled a hole through the front panel for that horizontally mounted toggle switch
.
I've got a similar DR105, unmolested by anyone but the Canadian Importer who added his infamous mod. From the serial number, I'd say yours is a late '79 or early '80. Potentially a good one, but we need to know what's been altered.

Well, we really need to see the underside of the chassis to determine what's been modified and what may need replacing.
There are 4 bolts on the bottom of the case. Tip the cabinet forward or place it so it straddles a support and undo those. You should then be able to lift the chassis out by the transformer brackets. Be careful - it's heavy!
Flip it upside down and rest it on the tops of the transformers (you may need a shim under one to keep it level and off the heat sink). Then snap all the pics you can! Closeups and overall shots would be helpful.

probably $1100 -$1200.
Sadly holes in the chassis, Especially the front really hurt the value. This amp will make a fine "player" but its collectibility is very limited.

Yeah, bummer. It's bad enough when modders drill holes in the rear of the chassis. Drilling through the faceplate is a definite no-no.
Any idea what that switch is doing? Looks like it cuts a cap in and out - bright switch perhaps?
