DR-504 two-holer, what's it worth?

Post by dicksmith »

Hi all, great site!
I recently purchased a 50W 1x12 combo (two-holer) with Fane speaker that sounds amazing. Now I'm thinking of selling my 50W head to pay for it. Anyone know what either is "worth"? They're both pre-PCB. The head has had the caps replaced in the last five years and is missing the logo plate, but the guts are pristine (or so the amp tech said...).
Any illumination would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Vintage HIWATT Forum!

Can you post some pics? the head could range from $1000-$1600 depending on condition. Missing the original HIWATT Badge hurts a little.

I will try to take some pictures.
Does anyone know if the 1x12 combo is a rare item, and thus worth more? I'm not selling it; it's too new and too sweet!

Combos are more rare, but are worth less as fewer people are willing to deal with the weight.

Glad you love it!

Hmmmm, as I recall from the 2007 Vintage Hiwatt Convention, hecklers were pinned to the back wall by the SPL from Hiwatt Bob's FL112 :!: .

Taunt we Hiwatt Combo owners at your own risk  .
