Those do sound good. It is worth $1000 or so. maybe a little more if the buyer is close enough to pick it up.
Where are you?

I was just down there a couple weeks ago. My former guitarist and songwriting partner lives somewhere on the north side of Atlanta.
Are you going to list it on ebay or what is your plan?
Consider me officially "interested"

Nice cab! Was the speaker behind the rip in the grill damaged in any way? If it's untouched, I'd agree with Dr.Hiwatt. If the cone was ripped, that'd result in a deduction (Proper reconing of Fane speakers is difficult).
A cosmetically pristine version of that cab would be worth considerably more. But, as with my equipment, most HIWATTs had to work for a living

I live in the Alpharetta area and being a Georgia native, I may know your former guitar player. Yes, the speaker was skewered as a result of letting my son take it out last year. I still love him. Though I agree with the statements regarding proper Fane reconing is difficult, I assure you that I got the best here to do it and watched over the project. Wizard electronics has been in Atlanta since 1974 always did great recones for me and just about any other group around Atlanta. It took several weeks to get the proper materials in, they did not use their off the shelf paper, and did a first class job. I was apprehensive when I first fired it up but was rewarded with a grit-eatin' grin after pounding an open E5 power chord with my 66 Strat and ENGL Straight amp till my pants legs were flapping. That must be what it feels like to come off the runway in an F-22.
Doc, I really have no desire to do the E-Bay thing as I have never done that before. Unless you feel that is the best way to go, I prefer old-fashioned direct communication. If you are interested, I feel that we could work something out.

I like seeing all the great Hiwatt stuff relocating into my state!

If my pretty wife ever cuts back on the Victoria Secret and Sephora.com purchases, maybe one day I'll be able to get a proper cab for my 50 watter!
