Hello There!
My names Chris form Ontario Canada.
Been a lurker for ever, Have been dealing with Proffessor Huss about a few builds and Dr.Hiwatt for some bits and bobs in the past. I really enjoy this community.
Due to financials... Ive entertained the idea of moving on my 1976 DR103 4 holer Serial 9095.
Im not sure how to post pictures, as soon as I figure out how, Im going to post some.
The Case is in wonderful shape, only a few nicks.
The amp itself has a inspection sticker of March 76, pots dating 75.
The indicator light has a small crack, buts is still good.
Someone had installed a gain mod, which is 1 wire and a component on V2 that can be pulled out easily.
The pair of partridges are there. No buzzes rattles or otherwise, unless its the room shaking.
All hardware is present. All the original filter caps, tech says theyre healthy.Amp is in same condition I bought it in. Tubes are US Philips.
If any interest is out there, make an offer. Again, I'll try to post some pics.
Cheers
Chris

No questions?? I guess the market has softened as Mikhailwatt says !!
I paid 2000 for it in October, CDN which for my US brothers is 1,737
I'd like to recoup a bit of that,I would ideally like to see a end result where I could make a bit of money and have enough to buy a 50 watt chassis and trannies for a build. Im sure I have a roadcase as well that will fit this head for a reasonable sum.
Any questions at all, Please let me know.
And as well if you have any comments please post.
Cheers!
Chris

I don't really need another DR103 (as my wife will tell you ). Other than the added gain mod (easily reversed) and the replaced OT it looks to be in pretty good nick.

I Just had a question from a forum member about the mismatched transformer Mark had mentioned. I spoke to a Dr. type who Is knowledgable in Hiwattism  and was told it was a OT from a 1974 DR103. And that im sure increases the value drastically, being a rare 76/74 hybrid..... :P

Hey There Chris,
Sadly, the '76 103 is now in Montreal at his new home as of Friday!
I hope you can find one for a good price somewhere around our area,Ive seen a few listed
and I only got 1500 CDN for mine shipped (including shipping) in a roadcase. Thats about 1300 US. You should be able to pick one off. I'm always surfin and will keep you informed should something come our way!
Cheers
Chris
