VHC Membership

Fellow HIWATT Aficionados,
Due to an influx of spammers registering on this board, we need to make one simple request / requirement:
Please post at least one message within 48 hours of registering for membership here. A good thread to reply to would be the "Introduce Yourself" thread, which can be found here:

But, any post, in any forum will suffice. That will serve a couple of purposes:
1) It will encourage new members to participate which is, after all, the point of this site!
2) It will identify users who may sign up for reasons other than HIWATT discussions.
Non-registered visitors will always be able to read messages. Membership is required to post.
Also note that including links to Pay-per-Click / Gambling / Porn / NameDrive / Redirects / Harvesting / etc. sites will be grounds for immediate deletion. We encourage members to link to their personal or band's websites (myspace or other). Links to sites that redirect to sites with links for photos of "boys in loincloths" (an actual example) will not be tolerated.
We hope this does not represent a major inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
