Looking at it makes my head hurt. I'm not sure what's worse...the addition of coolings fans or the removal of one of the 'Brill' input jacks.

I also would like to see detailed pics of the wiring especially behind the inputs. Some of the damage may be reversible.

Almost everything is reversible. Heck, you could cut and glue wood plugs into those fan holes and recover the box. It's just a question of how much time and money you want to spend.
